The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, or IICRC, is responsible for managing professional upholstery cleaning standards in the industry. The IICRC’s regulations are respected more than any other institution’s because they are kept up to date and are an excellent source of information. These codes of practice cover multiple topics and provide a foundation of knowledge that a technician can expand on through the Institute’s courses.
