Leaky Washing Machine Connection

After washing a load of clothes, this homeowner noticed water under and around the washing machine. A plumber was called and they found a leak in the washer connections. The leak was fixed, but the walls were left untreated.

Eventually, homeowners decided to sell the house and upon the advice of their realtor, a home inspector was ordered. He noticed the wall was still damp and it had some type of growth. After testing, the growth was confirmed to be mold. 

Once SERVPRO arrived there was both water damage and mold growth. Our professionally trained technicians were able to properly remediate water damage and treat/remove the mold.
